Chinese New Year

We had a wonderful week of celebrations with Chinese New Year. We made dragons, masks and lanterns. We also learnt about the story of  'The Great Race' and sequenced the animals crossing the river.

Tessellating patterns!

We have been learning all about patterns and how shapes fit together. Today we went on an adventure outside looking for tessellating patterns. Well done Reception!

All About Money !

The children have been adding up with money this week. We had some very interesting discussions as to where money came from and how it got into the bank in the first place! We did some tricky sums with pennies and used them to go shopping! Well done Reception!

Daffodil Rescue

The children have been doing a very important job during Forest School sessions this week! The daffodils are starting to peep through the soil and to stop them being trampled on our children have been putting stakes in the ground to protect them. Well done daffodil rescuers!
