More Rainbow Fish!

The children have been learning about the story of 'The Rainbow Fish'. They have been talking about feelings and sharing as a result of the storyline. We have made some fantastic masks and done some role play activities to retell the story. The children enjoyed playing in the shimmering, glittery water with sea creatures and had fun ordering by size. The end to a fantastic day. More fun to follow tomorrow with the letter 't', French and dance and movement!

Playtime!

After a delicious roast dinner lunch, we are out playing with our friends. It is great to meet up with our Year 3 Buddies on this beautiful day! The apparatus is great fun to play on. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!

This morning after a lovely play in the quad together making more friends we continued our 's' adventures! What a lovely mess we all made!

Letter fun!

Over the last week we have been exploring the letter sounds m, a and s. We will be moving onto t, i and n next. 'Fred the Frog' has been helping us with our blending and we are starting to sound out simple CVC words. Well done Reception!
