More letter fun!

Today we had a messy time in Read, Write Inc. After we had learnt  the sound 'th' and heard the story of the princess who was rescued from a tall tower by a prince we decorated some threes with thumbprints and threaded laces. We did some amazing handwriting. Well done everyone!

Environmental fireworks day!

Today Mrs Dimbleby's class learnt how to be safe on  bonfire night. We talked about fireworks and looked at some beautiful pictures and animated firework displays on the computer.
We all went on an expedition to the woods during Forest School and made our own firework pictures out of natural materials. Miss Gardner's class, it will be your turn on Friday!

Letter fun!

We are getting so very clever at word building, writing and forming our letters. Today we made words with the letter'w'! Learning the worm song was very funny indeed!

Meet our Year 3 buddies!

Today was an exciting day in the Reception classes. The children met their new Year 3 buddies.

Our friends will sit with us in assembly and help us outside in the playground when we are playing.

We have already spent time getting to know one another in the quad. Here are the pictures of us enjoying ourselves together!
