Welcome to our first few days in Reception!

Our first few days have been so exciting in Reception and so many different things have happened. On top of learning our new routines and getting used to the Reception staff team we have done Forest School, PE, literacy, numeracy, French, music, dance and movement to name just a few!
Meeting our new Year 3 buddies, sitting with them during assembly and playing with them in the playground has definately been a highlight!
Our topic this half term is 'Under the Sea'. The children are very excited to investigate all kinds of different sea creatures. Today we were learning about the letter 'm'. We have printed with mushrooms, decorated collage 'm' shapes, made monster masks and pictures, playdough 'm's' and writing sheets. Here are some pictures from our first few days.

We had a fantastic time playing in the quad with our Year 3 buddies.

The house picnic was also a real treat. Our first event with the whole school!
