Looking after the hedgehogs!

During Forest School we talked about bonfire night  and how to keep ourselves and the animals at Copthill School safe on Friday. The children talked about moving the animals up to the farm so that they would not be frightened by the noises.

We learnt about hedgehogs and how they like to snuggle up in leaves. We decided to make them new cosy homes so that they would not crawl into our heap of twigs and leaves for bonfire night. The hedgehogs will love them! See you all on Friday for bonfire night.

Maths Makes Sense!

Today Cup Man showed us how to add things together. It was so much fun and we had a bit of a giggle!

Meeting the Pre-School parents

Today we had a visit from some of the Pre-School parents. They came to see what their children would do when they are in Reception. Some of us were out at Forest School making environmental rangoli patterns and clay Diwali lamps. In the classroom we were making firework displays with chalk, cornflour and leaves. We also showed the parents how we do gym in the hall. Our teachers were so very proud of us. We have all grown up so much!
