Today we produced some fantastic icy artwork with igloos and snowy scenes. We have talked in detail about the different animals that live in the Arctic and how their bodies are designed to survive in cold temperatures. We even learnt how Inuit people build igloos. We will all be fine if the snow comes to England this winter!

Oh what a wonderful world!
Welcome back to a new term. The children have returned to school full of excitement and boundless energy for the new term ahead. We are starting a new topic called 'Oh what a wonderful world'. During the next six weeks we will be exploring different countries around the world. We have already started with the Arctic and had some interesting conversations about the climate, Arctic animals and Inuit people!
